jennifer: in memory of her mom {portrait photography}

dear mrs. talkkari,

our lives have changed since jesus took you home. not as many laughs, not as many funny pictures, and no one's tex mex can out do the way you made it so delicious. and although years have gone by, with good times and bad, i am so blessed to still be such great friends with your beautiful daughter, jennifer.
i had this idea to do a photoshoot like this, but jenn brought the idea to the surface and we made it happen. these photos are a tribute to you. wife. grandmother. sister. aunt. daughter, and above all else, mother....

.... jenn is so proud of the woman you were. you can not forget the kind of bond a mother and daughter share. you and jenn truly had a wonderful relationship....

.... you should know, as i'm sure you can see for yourself, that your daughter is becoming just as amazing of a woman as you are....

.... although life has thrown her curve balls, jenn fights back with an endurance and strength that i can only believe she gets from you....

.... the strength, grace, and love that you showed to others just as our heavenly father shows us....

.... we thank god for the time we had with you, the memories that continue to carry on, and you will never, ever, be forgotten. people will always remember you....

.... whether it's a memory, or whether it's whenever we look at your daughter jenn we see and feel a part of you....

.... thank you for being such an extraordinary mother to jenn, and thank you for being the wonderful woman you were to me....

... see you in heaven...

love, kelly

ps. yes, we're still weird and crazy.
pps. jenn still won't eat tomatoes and says 'crayons' wrong. (haha!)
